Introduction

Prior to partnering with Dr. David Silverman, Dr. Michael Rosen had a robust and successful Internal Medicine and Nephrology Practice in Northern Westchester, NY for more than a decade. He has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with chronic kidney disease and developed a kidney stone center of excellence in Northern Westchester, which focused on kidney stone prevention strategies. His practice also focuses on electrolyte disorders and complicated cases of hypertension. He is a member of the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists and his Internal Medicine practice targets disease prevention and wellness through nutrition. Dr. Rosen graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University – Bloomington, with a major in Mathematics and minors in Spanish and Biology. He graduated with honors from Indiana University Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. He has been awarded Top Doctor Recognition every year in Westchester magazine and has achieved this honor multiple times in New York Magazine. He is a clinical assistant professor at Hofstra University and has been a clinical assistant professor at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Rosen is committed to practicing the art of medicine and lives by the philosophy of William Osler that β€œthe good physician treats the disease, but the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.” He is committed to developing a patient-centered practice aimed at restoring the art of medicine into clinical practice. Dr. Rosen targets the precise delivery of health care to his patients, and his aim is to gain a deep understanding of his patients so that he can apply an individualized, evidence-based and compassionate plan to all his patients. Dr. Rosen is known to think outside of the box – especially if it means that doing so translates into facilitating the best care for his patients that New York has to offer.
