Dr. Daniel Maman is a Harvard fellowship-trained Board Certified plastic surgeon, specializing in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body and face. Dr. Maman has some of the most impressive academic qualifications in New York City. He holds an ivy-league undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree from Oxford University in England where he was New College Scholar. He completed over a decade of medical education and training at the Icahn School of Medicine/Mount Sinai Hospital, serving as Chief resident. He was then elected to complete a highly specialized fellowship in advanced cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, the #1-ranked hospital in the United States. During that time, he also served as an Instructor of Plastic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Maman has gained a national reputation for achieving very natural looking, long-lasting results in active men and women. He strives to establish warm personal relationships with patients, focusing on establishing a long-term personal relationship built on trust and confidence. Dr. Maman maintains active memberships in numerous academic societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Surgery (ASAPS). He has published numerous papers and written several book chapters in plastic surgery’s premier books and journals. He holds an academic teaching appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai, and is actively involved in the teaching of the prestigious Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Although most surgeries are performed in the privacy of our own in-office ambulatory surgery center, he holds operating privileges at The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, and Englewood Hospital.
