Introduction
Dr. Doris Pastore is a graduate of St. John’s University and the New York Medical College. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and fellowship in adolescent medicine at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell Medical College. Dr. Pastore served as Director of School-based Health Services and the Nutrition and Wellness Program at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center, where she was an attending physician 1990-2007. She is the recipient of awards for excellence in research and program design and the author of numerous academic publications, has trained 20 fellows in adolescent medicine and served as an officer/board member of the Society for Adolescent Medicine for six years.
