Dr. Lori Sidman is an Adult Psychiatrist who is fascinated by the relationship between the mind, body and the brain. As a therapist and as a Columbia trained psychoanalyst, she relies on the therapeutic process to empower her patients and to help alleviate their suffering. In addition to supportive and insight oriented therapy (or a combination of the two therapies depending on the needs of the patient), Dr. Sidman believes in an integrative approach emphasizing: attention to exercise, sleep, nutrition and meditation and overall wellness. When necessary, she will use medication in addition to therapy.
Dr. Sidman’s goal is to help her patients to feel physically and emotionally fulfilled and to work collaboratively with her colleagues who are struggling with anxious patients.
