Upon completion of medical school, he relocated to New York City for his residency in surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. He then furthered his surgical training and expertise by completing fellowship training in surgical critical care medicine at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Board certification in both general surgery and critical care medicine exemplify Dr. Dawson’s commitment to educational excellence.
